Join The Childbirth Collective Today!
Please consider new membership with The Childbirth Collective. Your continued support and involvement will help us help birthing families.
Active Members are listed in the newsletter. This list is updated three times per year. Active members are invited to create a profile on our web site for parents to search. Active members status requires attendance at 9 Collective events annually, or an equivalent number of hours volunteering on behalf of the Collective, plus the Childbirth Collective Informational Session. Active members recieve an invitation to join the Collective's own private social networking site. Dues are $50 per year, renewable in September of each year.
Associate Members are professionals who do not wish to be listed as active, but do receive the newsletter and an invitation to the Collective's own private social networking site. No participation required, although all are welcome at Collective functions. Dues are $25 per year, renewable in September of each year.
Contributing Members make tax-deductible donations and recieve our newsletter. Thank you!
To join the Collective:
When we receive your email, we will send you information about the next scheduled Informational Session, as well as a packet of information to read over beforehand. Please come with any questions you may have about the responsibilities and benefits of joining the Childbirth Collective. If, after completing the Info Session, you decide to move forward with joining the Collective, you can pay your first year’s dues (pro-rated if appropriate) and turn in your application at that time. Once your application has been processed (please allow 2 weeks for this to be completed), you will receive an invitation to join our online social network, post a public profile (for active members), and your name will be added to the membership list in the next printing of our brochure.
You do not need to be a member of the Collective to attend Parent Topic Nights or most of our other events. We invite you to attend as many PTNs as you want to meet members and get involved as you wait for the next Informational Session.
